Trunks

All calls logged by the system are processed from the local exchange selected when the system was configured.  The carrier selected at this time is also used in this process when there are no carrier prefixes on the numbers dialled.  As calls are logged and processed by the Callista Call Processor, entries are created in a special file using the default exchange and carrier parameters set up in the Call Processor.   At this option you can set up your trunks and allocate trunk descriptions which are used later in Trunk Utilisation Reports.
