Setting up trunks (exchange lines)

1.  Click Hospitality.

2.  Click Trunks.

3.  Click Add.

4.  The name you enter in the PABX ID field is the name allocated to the trunk by your PABX.  If you don’t know this name, make a call on the trunk and the system will automatically display the name of the trunk in this field.  You can manually enter the trunk name into this field but you must know the exact PABX ID for the trunk.

5.  In the Description field, enter the name you want the trunk to be called.  This name is used in Trunk Utilisation Reports.

6.  In the Number field enter the telephone number allocated to this trunk.

7.  In the Direction field enter the direction in which the trunk can accept calls.

You can select :

•      Both

•      Incoming

•      Incoming transfer

•      Internal

•      Internal transfer

•      Outgoing

•      Outgoing transfer

•      Trunk to trunk

8.  In the Group field, select the group this trunk has been allocated to if your trunks are divided into groups.  Leave this field blank if you do not have trunk groups.  You can add the names of your trunk groups at this field.

•      Right click the Group field

•      Enter the name of the trunk group in the Name field

•      Click Save  

•      You can also modify and delete trunk group names any time you choose.

9.  Click Save.
