4. In the Name / Number field enter the number or the name of the room.
5. In the Description field, enter a description of the room e.g. Room 115.
6. In the Room type field select from the drop down list the type of room this is e.g. Suite, Penthouse, Studio.
7. In the Department field select from the drop down list the department you want to allocate this room to. If you don’t have departments in your property you can leave this field blank.
8. A list of extensions already established at the Extensions option is displayed in the Available box. The extensions displayed in this box are available for allocation to rooms.
You can allocate multiple extensions to rooms if your property supports this facility. To allocate extensions to a room, click the extension you want to allocate and click the « button to shift the extensions you have selected to the Used box.
You can simultaneously allocate multiple extensions to one room by selecting the extensions you want to allocate either consecutively or individually and clicking the » button.
9. If your PABX supports wake up calls you must select an extension for the wake up call. If multiple extensions have been allocated to a room you must select one of them for wake up calls. Select this extension in the For wake up field.
10. The checkboxes at the bottom of the window are the custom fields you have established earlier and you can check the relevant boxes for this room to indicate its special features.
