If you use a carrier that requires you to dial leading numbers before the actual number you’re calling, the Callista Call Processor will not be able to recognise the leading numbers as a valid part of the call and the call will be rejected for processing and pricing. These leading digits need to be stripped from the call record and the Call Processor can be configured to do this automatically.
However when this is done and the call in a national, international or mobile call, the call will still be unrecognisable to the Call Processor because it will not begin with a zero which all of these calls must to be identified, processed and priced by the Call Processor. The leading zero must be inserted back into the beginning of the call record and the Call Processor can be configured to do this automatically.
You must perform this procedure for all the leading codes your carrier requires you to dial before specific call types replacing them with the required and correct numbers to validate each call.
