Monitoring the PABX

Use the PABX Monitor to ensure the Callista Call Processor is interpreting the data from the PABX correctly.

1.  Double click the Call Processor icon in the tooltray at the bottom of your screen.

2.  Click Configuration.

3.  Click PABX.  The details in the Information window should be completed automatically and correctly by the Call Processor.  If you have received clear and correct data in the Communications Monitor, data should be received into this monitor.  If you receive data in the Communications Monitor but not in the PABX Monitor:

      The PABX EOR code is incorrect or

      You need to re-initialise the Call Processor.  Stop the Call Processor and re-start.

4.  If the details in the PABX Monitor are rejected by the Call Processor, the wrong PABX type has been selected in Configuration.  Click Configuration and selected another PABX type.

5.  When calls are being interpreted correctly in this monitor you can then check to make sure calls are being processed correctly.
