This option currently only supports PABXs which output SMDR over TCP/IP via Telnet (single connection protocol). Because of the way in which Telnet operates, only one session can be active at once i.e. if the Call Processor is connected to the PABX on Telnet Port 80 no other application can access the PABX on this port.
Use this option if your PABX is connected to your network and calls will be logged via an IP address using TCP/IP (Telnet). An IP address and Telnet port to which SMDR data will be sent are designated in the PABX. If this port is not designated the default port will be used automatically.
1. Double click the Call Processor icon in the tooltray at the bottom of your screen to display the Call Processor.
4. In the IP address field enter the PABX’s IP address. Please make sure the format for this address follows the standard IP address format e.g. 192:168:1:1
5. In the Port field enter the number of the monitored Telnet port. This number must match the number which has been designated in your PABX.
6. Click Connect. When a successful connection is made, the status will be displayed automatically in the Status field.
