Logging calls via an IP address using TCP/IP

Use this option if your PABX is connected to your network and calls will be logged via an IP address using TCP/IP.  A broadcast IP address and TCP/IP port to which SMDR data will be sent are designated in your PABX.

1.  Double click the Call Processor icon in the tooltray at the bottom of your screen to display the Call Processor.

2.  Click Configuration.

3.  Click the Network Monitor tab.

4.  In the Monitor port field, enter the TCP/IP port number already designated in the PABX.

5.  In the PABX EOR Code field enter the code at the end of the call record (you can view this in the Communications Monitor).  The EOR code for most PABXs is CR (carriage return).

6.  When a successful connection is made, the PABX IP address (not the broadcast address) will be displayed in the monitor.

7.  The local IP address of the PC on which the Call Processor is loaded will be automatically displayed in the Local IP Address field.

8.  Click Save.
