Configuring the Reservation Pad

Before you start making reservations you can configure the Reservations Pad to match your own requirements including changing column widths, selecting the number of days to display, selecting which rooms to display and the order in which they will be displayed, selecting the reservation pad colour scheme with the system’s integrated colour palate.

1.  Click Guests.

2.  Click Checkin/Checkout.

3.  Click the Reservations tab.

4.  Click Setup.

5.  To configure Column 1 (Rooms)  set the column width (in pixels) in the Width field.  If you want the rooms in Column 1 displayed in a BOLD font, check the Bold Font checkbox.

6.  To configure Column 2 (Room Types) check the Display Room Type checkbox if you want the room types to be displayed next to the Room Numbers in Column 1.  Set the column width (in pixels) in the Width field.

7.  To configure Column 3 (Room Status) check the Display Room Status checkbox if you want the room status to be displayed next to the Room Numbers in Column 1 and the Room Types in Column 2.  Set the column width (in pixels) in the Width field.  In the Caption field, check the Full Name radio button if you want to display the room status in words or check the Icon radio button if you want to display room status with an icon.

8.  If you want to display room occupancy percentages on the Reservation Pad, check the Display Occupancy checkbox.

9.  In the Display Rooms by Type field you can select which rooms will be displayed on your Reservation Pad and the order in which they will be displayed.   Sort rooms by Room Number or Room Type & Number or Room Priority and Number.

10. Select the display options for your Reservation Pad :

      In the Start Date field select the day you want your Reservation to display from.  This can either be Yesterday, Today, Start of Week or Start of Month.

      In the Days on Screen field select the number of days you want to display on screen

      In the Scrollable Days field select the number of days you can scroll forward through the Reservation Pad

      Select the date format

11. From the colour palette select Occupancy, Reservation Pad Background, Reservation and Guest Name colours.  You can select block colour or gradient colour for Reservations by sliding the Gradient bar to the selected colour intensity.

12. Click Back to return to the Reservation Pad.  Experiment with colours and column sizes because your screen resolution and the size of your room names will affect the dimensions and colours you select.
