Configuring the generic PABX driver

If you have a PABX which is not listed in the Callista PABX List this feature of the Call Processor lets you configure your own driver to capture exactly how your PABX is outputting SMDR data so that calls can be logged and processed.  To use this option you must have the PABX type “Generic” selected in the Call Processor Configuration window.  This driver is fully configurable.

1.  Right click the Call Processor icon in the tooltray at the bottom of your screen.

2.  Click Advanced.

3.  Click the Driver INI File tab.

4.  The name of the driver you have selected to modify is displayed at the top of this window.  This should be the Generic PABX type.  Click Load to load the file for modification.

5.  Do not make any changes to the field names in the file displayed.

6.  Change the numbers to exactly match the SMDR data offset positions for your PABX.

PLEASE NOTE : Numbers in the SMDR stream are right justified so it’s important when you’re making any changes to be vigilant of this or the driver you modify may not work correctly.

7.  When you have finished click Save.
