Configuring the Call Processor

The Callista Call Processor is the core of your system simultaneously logging, processing and allocating calls making call data immediately available for reports and billing.  Before call processing can begin you must indicate to the Call Processor how the calls are to be collected and processed.  At this option you can establish and maintain all of these parameters so that calls are logged, processed and allocated correctly.

The Callista Call Processor can be configured to log, process and allocate calls from your PABX in several ways :

      From the SMDR port on your PABX to a serial (COM) port on your PC or

      From a file output by your PABX to a file on a PC on your LAN or

      Via an IP address using TCP/IP or

      Via an IP address using TCP/IP (Telnet protocol)
