A special feature of the Call Processor lets you configure the way in which the Call Processor decodes calls transmitted by certain PABXs. Callista’s PABX drivers are created to the PABX manufacturer’s default settings but sometimes the data output is slightly offset from these default settings and therefore the Call Processor will not be able to process the calls from these specially configured PABXs. These PABXs are indicated in the PABX List as Configurable. At this option a file is displayed which can be edited to change the position of the data received from the PABX.
1. Right click the Call Processor icon in the tooltray at the bottom of your screen.
3. Click the Driver INI File tab.
4. The name of the driver you have selected to modify is displayed at the top of this window. Click Load to load the file for modification.
5. Do not make any changes to the field names in the file displayed.
6. The numbers displayed are the default offset positions for the SMDR data from this PABX. You can make changes to these offset positions to match the SMDR format from your PABX.
Numbers in the SMDR stream are right justified so it’s important when you’re making any changes to be vigilant of this or the driver you modify may not work correctly.
