Configuring general parameters

1.  Double click the Call Processor icon in the tooltray in the bottom right corner of your PC screen to display the Call Processor.

2.  Click Configuration.

3.  In the PABX Type field select from the dropdown box the type of PABX connected to your PC or PC network.

4.  In the Primary Carrier field select from the dropdown box the main telecommunications carrier network you will access to make your calls.  Callista will use the standard charging tables for this carrier to price your outbound calls.  If you use the system’s Price Modification features, the Call Processor will use your customised pricing structure to price your calls overriding the standard pricing tables of the carrier you select here.

The Price Modification option is not available in Callista®Light.

5.  In the Local Exchange field select from the dropdown box the location of your local exchange so that calls can be priced accurately from your site.  Your local exchange can be selected alphabetically or numerically.  By default exchanges are listed numerically but you can change this.  To list exchanges alphabetically click Change Order and then type the first few letters of the exchange number to go directly to the exchange you need.

6.  Click Save.
